Meet Tam Ryan — Holistic Therapist in South Austin, TX
Hi, I'm Tam. I'm a holistic therapist in Austin supporting kids, parents, and LGBTQ+ folks through anxiety, trauma, grief, and identity journeys. I work from a place of love, community, and deep thoughtfulness, believing healing grows in spaces where we feel truly seen and deeply cared for.
My approach blends traditional therapy with nature-based, integrative work — whether you're a kid trying to make sense of the world, a parent feeling overwhelmed, or someone in the LGBTQ+ community craving support that feels truly affirming — I'm here to walk alongside you.
As a queer person and someone who knows the terrain of grief firsthand, I understand how lonely and overwhelming life can feel. I'm here to offer a therapeutic relationship rooted in authentic connection, steady support, and the belief that transformation happens in the presence of care.
Together, we'll explore what healing looks like for you — in ways that honor your story, your strengths, and your capacity for growth. I know the weight of grief and the ache of disconnection. You're not too much, too sensitive, or too complicated here.
I offer both virtual and in-person sessions through my South Austin-based practice.

Core Values at Tam Ryan Therapy
Authentic Connection
Healing happens in relationship. I bring my whole, genuine self to every session because I believe you deserve a therapist who truly shows up — not one hiding behind clinical distance.
Safety & Inclusion
Every identity, every story, every way of being is welcome here. I create spaces grounded in consent, cultural responsiveness, and the belief that all parts of you belong.
Community & Belonging
Isolation amplifies pain. Whether through group therapy, peer connection, or therapeutic community, healing deepens when we're not doing it alone.
Nature as Healer
The natural world offers grounding, perspective, and restoration that four walls sometimes can't. From trail walks to ecotherapy, nature is a partner in the healing process.
